It was a really great turnout for Youth Day 2012. Thank you to all who came out and had a great time with the Buggy rides, Airboat rides, Archery, McCarthy Wildlife Show, Palm Beach SuperTae Kwan Do demonstration, FWC's Cris & K9 Boone, Palm Beach Sheriffs, Palm Beach Pack & Paddle Canoing, Marshmallow Shoot, Dreamin Petting Farm, Gun Range, Snack Tent and more. FSCA appreciates all your support as this day funds many of our conservation activities for the year.

Thank you to all the Youth Day sponsors this year. We saw a lot of smiling kids having fun in many outdoor activities. Without you FSCA Youth Day would not be possible.

Be a part of a truly great experience for today's youth. It isn't very often they get to fish, canoe, ride an airboat, ride a swamp buggy, learn to shoot, learn archery and much more in one day. Help us show them what the outdoors is all about!!

In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children’s interest in the outdoors, the Florida Sportsmen’s Conservation Association has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a program specifically designed to educate our children to the many different recreational activities available in our natural areas, but more importantly, have some fun outdoors.

Our Annual Youth Day is scheduled for February 4^th, 2012 at the Everglades Youth Camp in the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area. We are expecting over 1,000 children of all ages to come enjoy various activities:

Activities Include: Wildlife Show, Swamp Buggy Rides, Fishing, Pony Rides, Muzzle Loading Demonstration, Turkey Shoot (still target), Nature Hike, Canoe Rides, Archery and Airboat Rides.

The F.S.C.A. cannot financially take on a task of this size alone, therefore we are asking for your help. We have designed Youth Day to be as low cost as possible to the children of our community, so we are asking that our business and community leaders pitch-in. We are a 501c-3 Corporation; so all donations are fully tax deductible.

FSCA accomplishments for 2011 have been overwhelming. Thanks to generous support we had during the year. We have worked hard this past year with SFWM helping to ensure their lands will have as many recreational opportunities as possible. We continue to participate in FWC sponsored Youth Hunting Programs. This program is organized by concerned volunteers and needs all our support to continue. Our biggest accomplishment this past year was organizing a successful Sportsmen’s Festival in June 2011. The support from our Community was awesome.
